Fatal Crash In Street Racing Incident
On Thursday, August 20, street racing led to a fatal crash near the intersection of Los Alisos Boulevard and Mustang Run. Investigators said two Infinitis were racing when one of the cars went off the road and struck a tree.
Orange County Sheriff’s deputies arrived to find Shalia Deciderio of Rancho Santa Margarita, the 21-year-old mother of a young child, dead at the scene. She was a passenger in the car driven by 20-year-old Jaime Rojas of Mission Viejo.
The driver of the other vehicle was Shalia’s brother, 20-year-old Aiden Deciderio. Both drivers were arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence.
