Answers to Frequently Asked Questions about the Mission Viejo Buzz community newsletter and website
- What is Mission Viejo Buzz?
Mission Viejo Buzz is a weekly digital newsletter and community website serving residents in and around Mission Viejo, California. We cover city news, community events, local schools, and the people and places that make our community a great place to live. We even have sections dedicated to pets that call Mission Viejo home, and to notable homes for sale.
- Is the newsletter really free?
Yes. The newsletter is available free of charge but does require a subscription to be received via email. Subscribing is easy by using the sign-up form on our website.
- How often is the newsletter published?
Mission Viejo Buzz is published every Tuesday morning, with a duplicate sent on Friday morning to subscribers who did not open the Tuesday edition. Approximately 48 issues are published during the year. Typical weeks with no issue are centered around holidays such as the 4th of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
- Is content the same in the newsletter and on the Mission Viejo Buzz website?
Some content is repeated in both places, but you will generally find more current, more detailed news items on our website. In many cases, stories in the newsletter are condensed versions of longer stories in the Mission Viejo Buzz blog section. We can also post many more community events and happenings on the Upcoming Events page on our website than we can in a weekly newsletter, making it a great page to bookmark.
- Are back issues of the newsletter available
Yes. All previous Mission Viejo Buzz newsletters can be downloaded from the Library page on the Mission Viejo Buzz website.
